REE were proactive in managing their site based activities and turning around laboratory testing and reporting ahead of schedule. The technical content and interpretive reporting provided by REE was of a high standard, providing direction on the suitability of materials encountered for use as borrow source for construction. I would like to say that Symon and his team at Red Earth Engineering were engaged at Arrow Energy to fulfill a short term technical assignment of constructing appraisal dams for our exploration and appraisal programs. This engagement extended to a four year period where Symon was instrumental in achieving cost savings in excess of $15m in the construction and remediation of our water and brine storage facilities. Symon is a consummate project management specialist who constantly sought and delivered innovative solutions to drive efficient and cost effective outcomes on a number of dam remediation projects with varied and difficult technical challenges. Symon integrated into the Arrow team in a seamless manner and was a well liked and highly respected member of our staff. During his time at Arrow Symon mentored and tutored many of his peers and was always happy to share his knowledge and experience. In his time at Arrow Energy, Symon with the help of Beneterra delivered a number of Queensland firsts in the remediation of appraisal dams; ahead of schedule and under budget using great project management skills outside of the square thinking.
