Red Earth Engineering is proud to be partnering with Optum Computational Engineering on the development of a NorSand constitutive material model for the Optum G2 software. NorSand provides a robust tool to perform analysis of static liquefaction for important soil structures like tailing dams, as recently used to investigate the Fundão and Cadia TSF failures.
Optum G2 is a complete 2D plane strain and axisymmetric software solution including elasto-plastic analysis, limit analysis, groundwater flow, consolidation and shear strength reduction (SSR) factor of safety calculations.
